Default QUAD Cab vs. Crew Cab

I am looking to get a 2010 Ram. In order to save a few bucks, I was thinking about getting the Quad Cab vs. the Crew Cab. If you have a Quad Cab, could you let me know your toughts on it? Have you found it is too small or do you like it?

thanks
Mike

I have the QC and had a CC on my last Ram. Only thing you lose is the in floor storage in front of the rear seats by going with the QC, plus the smaller amount of leg room in the back.

Personally, for the cost difference I chose the QC. I also have the buckets with the console shifter. Much more comfortable than the bench in my opinion.

I prefer the quad cab because of the 6'-6" box I am usually hauling ladders or pipe in the back. Both my kids are still small so the back seat room is fine for them.

Yup...that's what I have seen is the difference..just a bit less leg room.

I have a MegaCab and the space behind the front seat + the back seat (great place for a sub box ) is pretty noticeable!

Depends what yours going to use the truck for, if your going to have people in the back all the time, they might appreciate some leg room. If your going to need a bigger bed instead to haul things then then get the quad cab

I went with the crew cab mainly cause I wanted my kids to have plenty of room. And the bed length can be a tad short at times but it works for me.

You really have to list your priorities. When I went looking for a truck I had my Must Haves and Would Like list. This way I was more flexible when looking at the stock on hand at the dealer. The biggest thing is make sure you get what you will be happy with, nothing worse then buyers remorse 2 months down the road. I had that when I bought a Jeep Commander with a 3.7L instead of the 4.7L. So 2 years later I sold mine to get one with a 4.7L then I wished I would of bought the Hemi lol.

So its all in what turns your crank. For me my Must Haves were Crew Cab, Hemi, with Fog Lights.

I have the QC since I wanted a longer box and didn't really want it too comfortable in back (if you know what I mean). It is actually not too bad back there for my teenage kids, there is plenty of room.

I have the QC here. We like it. I think I would find the CC box too short. Plus the people who are paying the bills sit up front and its plenty comfy up there
