My man, I might be able to help you... give me some time to check my guys work, then do my tb and after posting pics Ill give you the go

But first, if we bore the tb 4mm or 6mm over will that be too much air? hmm ima go with no its fine...Ive been wrong before.

Second, if the tb is 4-6mm wider dont the holes on the manifold were the tb sits on need to be bored 4-6mm aswell to allow the consistant volume of air to pass thru without it hitting the smaller intake manifold openings?

ya i see where your going with that.. but i know a few people who have gotten their tb bored or ported as u would. to 52mm and it opened it up for more mid and high end. but id be happy with 52mm . they say 54mm or bigger is for stroked engines. i plan o one day taking it to a 408 stroker. so if i could get a 54mm that be sweet would save me in the long run.

I havent checked with him about the cost of porting it out from stock 48mm to a wide mouth 50,52 and 54mm . I brought up the subject on porting our aluminum tb's and he said its possible. Next step would be to get a couple of tb"s over to his shop and inspect them when done then road test it,

Yeah before you know it they all add up to 30-50 bolt on horsepower! Not just that but they work off eachother for even more gains, alot of guys dont see it this way for some reason they depend on only a cai, or a 180* tstat to deliver massive amounts of hp. I say that cuz that used to be me lol

First, off how much did the shift kit cost? I think i saw it for 200.00-300.00 kinda close???

Second, I cant recall the existing gears your running now. Have you done any research on how much more takeoff the 410s will give you, what about running diff. size tires?

Third, "prob new heads" HELLS YEAH.... you might wana edit your post to say definitely new freaking RHS R/T style big mouth valves, fully ported heads!

Who and what they quote you for the stroker kit by itself and labor costs? There was a time when I was going the stroker route. I was going for the 426 hemi style stroker kit for a 360 magnum! roughly 2999.00 I think im not certain but they claimed 550+hp 690 lbs

I hope I didnt make you say wuta f&%k when you see all these ?'s
Its just that we got the same beast and it'll save me time letting you research it lol j/k bud, other members would reference this if and when the decide to mod themselves IE. JCASEY

I got the shift kit for 80 off a guy. Summit i think is 120.00 Not sure how much more takeoff ill get from the 410 since i got 355. Heads i have no idea just saying down the road id like to get them. As for the 408 i think its 1500 from hughes the 426 needs some kind of machine work or something so it will be easier or the 408 have not been quoted labor cost but down the road if my budy is still around and will do it id say he would charge 500-600 wut he charged my dad to rebuild his big block 390
