Default Not Performing Like It Used To

I have a '09 RAM 4x4 with 5.7 HEMI with 20,000 miles.
It has been performing well up until recently, it seems to be losing power.

Pressures and temperatures are all good.

Any idea what is happening?

Thank You in advance.

Welcome to the Z. That's pretty low miles for losing power. Do a search on the forum for seafoam. Lot of folks like that stuff. I haven't used it myself.

We have a lot of forums for all kinds of topics, so you shouldn't have any problems finding a place to post questions.

We LOVE pics of Rams.

Here's how to post them: http://www.ramforumz.com/forumdisplay.php?f=73

B&G induction service could help, it really cleans up the induction and gets rid of the carbon. Run a scan on it and see if any codes come up. If you know someone who subscribes to Alldata, they can pinpoint any issues. We use it in the shop all the time and it really works. http://www.bgprod.com/products/fuelair.html

Not sure where you live , but I know that here in Md. it's about this time of the year when the changeover to oxygenated fuel . It doesn't help performance or economy . Stop by the newbie section and introduce yourself .

Are you sure it's not just you thinking it's slower. Unless you actually get proven numbers maybe it isn't as slow as you think.

Could it be the adaptive learning has just "learned" and appears to be slower? You could reset the TCM and see what happens.

Good point. Didn't even think of that one.

Got to agree, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the effects of winter gas. Most stations in the Midwest started carring it about mid-October
