what kind of stuff do you have to do to qualify, i mean any portion a rundown? prone, standing, kneeling shooting? here in canada we do pwt 3 or personal weapons trng level 3, out of 49 or 50. depending on your RSO. just curious i did the american version in fort custer about 2 months ago. which just consisted of pop up targets

yeah since im air force we just do prone for the qualification. But we also do all the other firing stances during training along with some mild tactics training.

nice shooting but do i see pen holes in there??? (poking holes with the tip of a pen in a paper target makes the same hole as a 5.56)

the Army does prone supported, prone unsupported and kneeling with pop up targets (40rds total). My belief is that the army needs to get away from the prone position along with all the other services. I have been through 2 deployments (iraq and afghan) everytime i was in a fire fight, laying down was my last thought, instinct is to go to a knee find the source, get behind cover while returning fire and suppress the enemy fire. just my opinion though

IDK bout pen holes but the CADEM guy used a marker to count the holes. Makes it easier to count shots that are very close together cause it leaves a mark.
