Default Found a cam installer...

Ok guys I was searching for a cam installer here locally and i finally found one to do it..He is going to charge me 500 dollars for install only I have to get parts...Is this a good deal??
Also can anyone give me a parts list of all the things I need..I will be buying a cam from interia motorsports...I was thinking about getting a Crazy Jay..How does this cam perform??

there a guy her doing it for me once i get this god damn tuner his name willbreakloose. he a great guy. 500 is fine. you need spring valve retain crank bolt. call and ask for art at Henson motor sport for the basic cam parts.

I am looking for a good low to mid range tq cam....Something to get me better 1/4 mile...My truck is QC 2wd with 4.56 gears what do you guys recommend for a cam in my truck?? I heard KRC 210 is good but thats more for 4x4 trucks right..What would a good cam be thats easily tuned with my diablo??

I wouldn't buy a low end cam if you are running 4.56 gears. Those gears give you all the low end you need. A mid to high end cam and a new stall (something like 3k rpm) is what I'd shop for...just my opinion.

if you're buying from Inertia you should call them (Stu) and get they're advice, they have been doing this for a wile they know what works if not the Comp 268 it's a great performance cam an will fit perfect in your setup
