I would have to define the 4th gen ram setup as a coil-over 'shock', not 'strut'. With the 5100's you only buy the 'shock' portion, and use the factory spring. I know this would be a subject where everyone has a different definition, but a strut is normally defined as also being part of the steering system of a vehicle. Shocks dampen, but coil-overs also support weight while dampening and are not part of the steering components, which describes the 4th gen setup.

Does anyone happen to have a good link to where they bought the bilstein 5100s whole kit to put on ram sport? Just curious, yall mentioned putting them on just the front, are there rear ones that you just leave off? Im confused.

Try this, it's where I went and the price was reasonable considering you get 4 new mid-to-high level shocks with it. The rear does not get adjusted as that would kind of defeat the whole point of lifting the front. It's just a leveling kit. Good luck and post pics if you make the switch!
