Nice work so far. Don't forget to use a little RTV sealer on the joints wher the timing cover and block meet. Did you go with a factory cam or something a little bigger? Doing any port work to the heads while the engine is apart?

Oh ya I did I hate oil leaks..Stock cam and the heads are getting port matched by the machine shop, hopefully it comes out decent. Is there anything you can do to the I/M? I searched yesterday but didn't find much of anything on the stock i/m. Maybe I can pull my 50 shot out of my civic since I'm never going to spray it anyway..Do you think these pistons would be fine with a 50? wet that is~

I doubt there's much you could do with the intake that would be worthwhile. The stock bottom end should be fine with a correctly tuned 50 shot once it's broken in. Are you running headers or manifolds?

That's what I figured, hence why I couldn't find anything online. Ya I'd definately break it in first it is just a thought, I really don't need any more speedy vehicles. I just bought this for two reasons it was a cheap mechanics special and it will help me move if I get this new job out of state. Oh and a third I wana see what it can do out in this AZ desert. It came with a 3-4" lift on it lol oh and I'm just running manifolds for now.

I'd definately consider a set of headers. Now is the ideal time to install them.
