Default Grille Insert Removal

searched the site and couldn't find a thread with instructions on how to remove the grille inserts on an 02-05 Ram. i gave it a shot but i can't get it out without damaging the stupid plastic rivet things. any help is greatly appreciated.

im not sure how it is on the older models but on my 09 i had to take the bolts out on top of the grill and then there were clips and i just pulled straight out

you dont have to 'drill' them out if you find something small enough that can go in the center hole, like a nail, is what i used you can pop them right off, just give it a little tap and BAM there off!!! i just used zip ties to replace them with!

I will be using the small screws that go back into the holes there. I just will make sure I use the right sized drill bit.

just be carefull that you dont drill out too much stuff i have seen that
