ramitall, what didnt you like about your spacers? and ill have to look into those lifts, and platinum, i know better then just stacking 10 inches of lift blocks and doing a 5 or 6 inch body lift (like some of my dumb friends...) but im working with a tight budget. im just trying to go as high as i can without having to get all new everything custom made and get into big $$

they were very stiff. never happened to me but seen guys spacers come out from their shock (one guy pulled into advance auto once when i was there) just didnt like the ride. its kind of like my ram with the torsion keys maxed out. im going to say just save up for the little extra time it would take to buy a complete lift. you'll definitely be thankful you did. anything over 6' is when you're looking into custom anything. so just dont go over that

Anytime you lift or level, it was an issue because they all use your ball joints. It is a trade off to level of any truck's front end. Unless you add a gussett lower than the stock one along with a longer spindle (as with any lift kit) to your lower A arm (if you have a double wishbone front end), your front end's ball joints will be stressed and will fail prematurely if it's too much.
