i mean i am assuming if i put in new cams ill need new valve springs. what about head studs? and just normal heads can be used with Ho cams? ugh im in a jam. want to do all this but i just got a new job. pays decent, but still need a vehicle for winter.

edit**
i noticed airram sells valve springs as a kit of 16 with the retainers. if i do decide to put HO cams in, those springs would probably be the most obvious ones to buy correct? 1:30 am and my ram is giving me nightmares lol

That place is a general idea of what you can have done for a fraction of the price of new injectors.

Okay, h.o cams will work with stock springs. I'm sure h.o. springs would be better.
As for heads, yes standard heads will be fine with those cams.
I know of a place that sells heads for $500 a stock set. Ill look for the number for you. Also I can get ported heads for around $8-$900.

wow thats cheeeap for ported heads. actually i caught a HUGE break and yesterday i just bought HO cams, heads, and covers for $300! they came off of a durnago with 55,000 miles. im getting them magnafluxed at a local shop. ive known the guy my whole 18 years alive so hopefully ill get a break there too. but if i ever decide to upgrade or just get bored with money maybe ill take up that deal on the ported ones. thanks!
