The all gig also has the option of added a camera up front and has outputs for rear seat entertainment if you want.

And the price??????

Camera was like $40 bucks. All Gig wasn't cheap but pretty versatile. Link. http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=62504

Not really an issue That's talking about turning it on while not in reverse. I have towed trailers and never had the need or the desire to see my back up cam while moving forward. To each his own though just a little wiring modification.

Then the option needs to be added to your vehicle options, tipm reprogrammed, and voila.
Win,
I ordered the backup camera when I bought my 2011 ram. Rather than order a truck, the dealer agreed to install all the extra options I wanted on one of the trucks on the lot. The backup camera was held up because of all the issues in Japan. It came in last week and the dealership tried to install it but they can't get it to activate. At first they thought they had the wrong wiring harness because it did not match exactly. They call and found that it was correct but they had to alter something. I have the non-nav radio. They were going to call Dodge support on Friday to see if they could help. Do you have any ideas what it might be?

For an "American" car Japan issues sure to affect a lot of things on these trucks..

Just so this is relevant, I wanted a backup camera from day one when I started looking at trucks. After seeing the trucks on the lots that had the camera I then decided I could not afford it and talked myself into "not needing it". When all was said and done I ended up with a truck that had the Backup camera and the Nav and I am very happy with it and I know I would be in the same boat as you right now later on if I didn't get it factory. I love both features
