I had a custom Y-Pipe fabbed up at a local shop.... just an alternative to paying for a pre-fabbed one.

How much did it cost each of you installed?

hmmm..... not sure how much the actual y-pipe was, I had it done while getting other exhaust work done. I got the following work done for $300
(I'll start from the front & go to the back...lol) Custom front y-pipe replacing the factory one, Magnaflow 14" SI/SO muffler going into a second custom y-pipe splitting to pipes straight out the back with 22" chrome tips. Breaking it down, I'd guess around $25 for each y-pipe. Not really the exact answer you were looking for, but what the heck...... now you know my entire exhaust setup

Did the Magnaflow "Y" pipe go on your factory exhaust?

Kinda curious as to why you installed a second Y pipe instead of just getting a SI/DO muffler??

I did it for sound. I had an 18" SI/DO Magnaflow on there for a while, but at about 1500 - 2300 rpm's, it produced a deafening low base drone in the cab, that was not to my liking. The SI/SO muffler & Y-pipe combo got rid of that, and still performed well.

i am also looking into modding my exhaust from the muffler up as i already put a magnaflow in that i bought off ebay with unusually small diameter piping. it was only like $150. im thinking doing a HF catted y pipe with the gibson headers. then a diablo tune. does anybody know if you can tune for a catless setup? my subaru legacy gt is catless turbo back and I LOVE the sound and even the smell. but that is a completely different engine and sound. (boxer motor vs NA 4.7 v8) will running shorter length piping after the muffler LOUDEN the exhaust? like instead of duals with tips doing two down turns off the muffler or a side exit? its a single in dual out magnaflow muff.
