I might be wrong but I thought stock size was 48mm.

I am in the process right now doing the throttle body. Slightly concerned with the stock air box (reinstalling I mean). Is it as much of a pain in the butt as it looks like it will be to get the gasket lined up?

Also, has anyone decided to half shaft the throttle plate shaft? Any gains? I would assume it would be as good as porting does because you're taking a major restriction out as far as i can tell.

Well it was a little bit of a pain getting the stock air box on, but that's fine. Only noticed maybe a small amount of high end torque but only in the 1 - 2 shift. Kicks a little harder on second gear engagement. Guess I need a cold air intake or open element like most of you are running? Also noticed a nice pool of oil inside the rear of the "keg". Time for that Hughes air gap!

i did this to mine ...

I definetly noticed 2 big gains of cooler operating temps and not running so rich ... the only downside it makes me wanna put my foot in it more ... now to just make the "black mamba" intake
