go on ebay and buy a $20 set of canbus foolers. i got a set and it works like a charm.

cant offer no other suggestions but ^^^^^^^

other option is to buy the kit aac sells...its good stuff and it works.....but pricey!

i had this problem on 07 and up sprinters...on the cab and chassis some customers would put led tail lamps....the bcm would turn them off and put the lamp out light on becasue the resistance was too low......same problem you have.....an inline resistor would work but if you hurt something it will be costly......

as for the tpm light coming on id have to guess your ballast is too close to the antenna....move the ballast and see what happens....g/l

its none of those problems you have to wire in a relay for both ballasts! the same thing happen to my buddies truck its weak/low voltage coming out of the factory plug on the dodges!!! once you wire in a relay it will not back feed voltage into the ballasts and you will be golden!!!!

the voltage will be low if tested with the headlamp harness connector disconnected......but if you were to test the voltage on the positive side with the factory headlamps powered up you would find that the voltage is normal.....you make my point for me.....when the tipm does not see the correct voltage it shuts the circuit down...so all you are seeing is a checking voltage if you will....but you are correct....a relay using battery voltage for load side and the headlamp control circuit on the control side of the relay would work....lol.....a relay has a resistor on the control side....pull the cover and you will see it....it prevents the spike (feedback) when the coil in the relay shuts down and provides some resistance....


same as a one way resistor from an a/c clutch control on a older vehicle would work.....no return to the tipm when you power down and enough resistance to make the tipm happy......

i was told when i ordered my HID's that since dodge has such an advanced computer, you will need relay's and cancellers for the high and low beams, but not the fogs or they will basically operate as you are describing ...... haven't received my lights yet so i can't tell ya.... hope this helps

So after I got them in found out the drivers side bulb went bad lol so now I am going to wait for a new one and I should be good with the relay harness
