Hi bigred, could you be a bit more specific? Does it happen while driving, does it change pitch with the engine, does it happen when stopped?

We need way more details. The more details you give the more accurate we can be. Right now it sounds like either normal operation, or a vacuum leak.

By chance, do you have a throttle body spacer??
they make a noise like that & they are not worth the material that they were made from

Sounds like you may have a throttle body spacer installed? I have one and you will hear a slight sucking noise when you first accelerate.

Look on the throttle body. It will probably be a 1" black or Red spacer that is attached. Mine is made by airaid.

Go to www.airaid.com and you will see what they look like.
