Default What gives?

My dealer did not know what my truck would need until they scheduled the first 1 hour appointment. It was at this time they found that all that was needed was a flash and actuator and took care of it right then.
Unless they know for sure what is needed from the vin I would be pushing the issue. Its that time of year that the heater and defroster are getting a workout.

Enjoy the Ride!

I took my Ram in last Monday and had the recall work done. Paperwork said they did the flash and replaced some actuator. I know they had some of my center dash taken apart because I lost some stuff by accident a while back when I shut my cup holder kind of hard and lost the stuff to the back of the dash. Never got around to trying to fish it out but it was sitting in the cup holders when I picked up the truck Monday night.

The truck was not driven much since that day until this weekend. My wife and I went to the store and I had shut off the truck and we sat in the truck talking for a few minutes before we got out into the cold. Probably about 30 seconds after shutting off the truck, we hear the dash making all these grinding noises coming from below the glove box. It never made that sound before. It hasn't made the sound since, and the air flow seems normal, so who knows. If it does it again, it will be back to the dealership.

Took miine in about a month ago, after I got the notice in the mail. HVAC works much better now. The defrost doesn't come on automatically in warmer weather anymore, and the A/C hasn't been turning on in the cold (thank god!) Funny too, I had phoned the dealership and asked about that a year ago & they had no idea what I was talking about. All that matters is the flash fixed it!

Dunno. They also replaced my front CV boots, and some engine bolt I think.

Taking "Chuck Norris" (kids named it that hahaha) tomorrow. Mine kind of has a scraping sound, like the fan is scrubbing on the housing. Hoping whatever they replace will solve that lil annoyance..
