Default Speedometer/gauges got dirt in them

Anyhow I was off roading about a year and a half ago. Had my windows down (Mistake ) And some muddy water flew threw the windows.

Anyhow long story short I got some muddy water down in the gauges (through the trip reset stick lol )... Not enough to hurt anything but I am def. tired of looking at it every time I get in my truck.

I took the speedometer panel out... there is no way into it. Should I just stick it in the oven for a few minutes and pull it apart to get the muddy debree out? Or will this be bad for it seeing as how there is other electronics in there?

Also if I should do this what should I reseal this with?

I don't know if it's 100% the same, but my electronics are separate from the cover in my '07. I baked mine open to paint it, exact same procedure as baking headlights; and the reseal was done with exterior clear caulking, you don't need anything fancy for the seal as it's not outside, basically just need something to hold it together.
