Default New skins.....

Man the replacement tires are expensive! 4 new Goodyear Eagle GT 2's for a bit under $700

I just turned 72000 on the originals and they are dry rotted to boot.

I will post a photo as soon as they arrive and get installed, which will probably be a week or so.

Default Goodyear Eagle GT 2's

Just ordered a set for $695 installed....and it took alot of searching to get them this low and shipped in a week. I just put Goodyear Wranglers on my Trailblazer and can really tell the difference in handling.
These are the original skins on my Ram so they are 14 years old with 72000 miles on them. If not for the dry rot I would think about waiting a few more miles but its past time to change these.
Besides, this winter should be a bit better with fresh treads

If you've been putting tire dressing on the tires to make them shiny, that is more than likely the reason for the dry rot.

Yeah, new rubnber always hurts the wallet, though the idea of the retreads has become quite appealing, especially for winter tires.

I bought the Indy Ram this spring with the factory tires and they just look old and cracked, actually have decent enough tread but just figured its time to choke up on the bat and swing for the fences! (I dont use tire dressings on my truck or my 'Vette) Piece of mind is priceless........
