You're probably just going to have to start backtracking until you find the short to pwoer that's causing the lights to come on. Is it the headlamps or the DRL's?

Default headlight will not go out, and high beam indicator stays on

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. The headlights will not go out unless you pull the fuses even with the switch off, and even with the switch removed they will stay on if fuses are in, also the highbeam indicator light stays on, even when the headlight switch is removed. can anybody help me with this.
