The only way I'm aware of to lift your truck and keep the warranty intact is to use a Mopar lift kit.

actually it doesn't void warranty no matter what you do, so to speak. there is a big thing on this called the moss magnesson act. basically the dealer or whoever has to prove that what you did directly effected the part that failed. now i'm not sure how the whole warranty thing works but why would a dealer even tell dodge that its lifted? just fix the part and get paid right? my buddy does stuff like that all the time at his dealership. puts a warranty claim under his truck for our friends trucks. i'm sure there are dealers who will tell you to pound sand but what does it matter to them?

They make a 4" kit that's available through the dealership or Mopar. Sometimes, Chrysler calls for failed parts to be sent back to them to determine the cause of the failure, and this is why we might need to tell them of particular mods. If your buddy ever gets caught, he could be hit with fraud and/or theft charges.

I've always had the understanding that it had to be a mopar accessory installed by an authorized dodge mechanic. Someone traded in a "tuner" srt4 at my cousins dealership, while it had stage 3 everything on it it was still under warranty.
I know of a couple dealerships that sell brand new rams with 4" lifts, 18" xd wheels and bushwackers right off the lot (local off road business does all of the installation)

place in Tn does it alot for gm. local chevy dealer has them all the time.

ramtech, he only does small parts and its only once in a while. but he will take a part of a truck on the lot if he can't get it quick enough.

Small or large parts don't really matter; it's still fraud and in this day and age of economic uncertainty, it's not worth the risk IMO. Cannabalizing isn't a big deal though. We've had to do it a time or two.

This is the 3rd time ive heard about this mopar lift and level kit. I think this might be the way to go only to keep factory warranty. I modded the hell out of my car bc the warranty did nothing for me if it broke I replaced it better. The truck is a differnt story. A lot more money involved lol.
