Default Calling programmer guys!

Hey there guys,

Quick run down, I picked up a 2005 dodge ram quad cab with the Hemi, it needed manifolds so i took it to the dealer and when I was there they had a mangled up 2009 there, Long story short i got the hemi out of that truck and put it in my truck cheaper than it would have been to replace the manifolds.

Now the problem is im not sure what programmer to buy. I disabled the MDS, so that isnt really a problem.
I have 4:10 gears, worn 35's, new 6" fabtech, 3" body plus a leveling kit.

Im not sure what to do for the programmer, I would like to put a CAI on, I have a true dual exhaust already, and would like to see a little more MPG and Power when I want it lol

Sorry for the long post, if there are anymore questions about the truck, let me know.

Thanks in advance,

Jeff

If it has the ECU from the new Hemi I would think you need the programmer to match that. Beyound that it's just personal preference.

it has the 09 wiring harness, with an adapter to make the two fit. the part number for the 05 is the same for the 09 on most programmers, but i wasnt sure if anyone else had done this before and had knowledge about it.

thanks

IF you've got the wiring harness and ECM from the '09, then I'd make sure you're getting the programmer that's compatible for the new HEMI as it'll still have the VVT and it needs to be taken into account. I would recommend the Diablo programmer, I have it on mine, and it's great, the most flexible of all the programmers. Next recommendation would be the superchip cortex.

ok, sounds good. I've heard a lot about the Diablo programmers, hopefully I find some extra cash and pick one up lol
