Mopar CAI is supposed to increase HP by 19%. I have one and like it a lot

There is not a chance a CAI is going to add 74hp. If they are advertising 19% its a flat out lie.

For one or the other to reach their HP potential, both need to be installed.

I'd start with the intake first. That can be the most immediate reward, with better throttle response the result.

The CAI will only get any true benefits during WOT. (Cool sound aside) The numbers manufacturers claim are almost always at a very high RPM.

So unless you are going to nail it every time, I'd go with a better breathing exhaust which will add a bit more umph at most, if not all, RPM ranges especially if you include headers.
