It is for certain weights and blends of their oil.

Yes certain Amsoil products have an extended drain interval of up to 25,000kms. Those products are clearly labeled as such. Personally I would never let it go that long however perhaps I will try for 10,000kms as long as it looks nice an clean on the dipstick.

Yes they say 25000 but why would you put your investment in your trucks engine up to save a couple BUCKS just doesn't make sence to me . I think that everyone should go to a web site ENGINE OIL FILTER STUDY by RUSS W KNIZE this site will blow your socks off if you trust your truck to some of the so called good oil filters . I personally love synthetic oil Ive got 148000 on my baby synthetic in all apps I can . LOVE THAT HEMI

^^^^Amsoil has 3 grades of their oil OE rated for 3000-5000 mile changes, XL 15,000 miles, signature series rated 25,000 miles. They offer filters for 15,000 miles & 25,000 miles. Warranties will not be voided. You can use synthetic even if you have used dino's you just want to use the Engine Flush first before you drain out oil. It cleans the varnish & any sludge build up from dino's.
