Default key fob design flaw

For the past few months I have been having problems with unlocking my truck. I would sometimes have to hit the button 10 or more times to get it to work. After reading a few posts I opened up the fob and blew out whatever lint got in there. Put it back together and now it works 100%.

My issue is now that I cleaned it I am reminded about how easily the remote start starts the truck. Just today it started twice when I was sitting down in my house with my keys in my pocket. What if my Ram was inside my garage, that would have put exhaust fumes in my house. I know I can't be the only person who that has happened to, hopefully Chrysler will come up with a way to fix that.

Hey JimRam
Thanks for the info on the FOB, having the same issue. I will try the cleaning and see how it works.

It dosent hurt to make the battery contact tighter, I have had to do this twice, seems like the metal wont hold the bend in it

Ive somehow started mine by accident more than once, little paranoid on how I carry the fob around now.

Find a small fiber washer and glue it over the button, should do the trick
