no headers for me. I keep thinking about a mild cam...maybe the comp 268 and/or p&p the heads. I don't want to spend a bunch of money b/c I'm hoping that Procharger, Edlebrock or KB are going to release a s/c for the 4th gen. 6-8 psi would give my truck a nice sleeper look. I already have a TVS blower on my car so I'm leaning towards the Procharger for something different plus it has a nice linear power delivery. Exterior is all stock....I've bought both but I can't decide to drop the back 2" or raise the front 1.5" to get close to level.

Gabe

edit: I'm also holding off from the cam b/c I need to look into a cam that is ground for blower applications.

RamTex I guess we can make this the dyno thread if you dont have any objection. Heres mine as promised. I was able to do a street pull finally to stretch her legs. I was at an abandoned airport and I absolutely dont condone this type of behavior whatsoever..something like that. Ok, anyways the torque definitely makes the truck feel linear all the way thru the range. Shifting comfortably at 5800 1-3 gears.

3rd gear, 115mph, 5000rpms, oem 20" rims, oem 33"diameter tires

thanks man, Im really happy so far for what it is. Against my better judgement I was hoping to leave it be and hold a few ET slips with just the cam mod but thats 3 months friggin away. The quote Ive gotten for the eagle heads/install is just to hard to walk away from. This way I can really turn up the heat and with a much more aggresive tune.. we will see

I know man Im dying contemplating about it.. Angie already says, are you talking to yourself again? The only thing is its against everything Ive been doing since Ive gotten this truck. Every one lil mod I did, I would haul ass down to the track just to prove to myself if it helps or not, slowly whittling my ETs down. Id really hate to change that now.
Ive been patient thoughwe see..
its only 75 days to MIR season
Damn thats a long time

RT, I pulled the trigger on the AR 1 7/8" headers instead. I should have them by the middle of next week and hopefully a new dyno sheet of a cam/header pull.. by middle of january. cant wait!

grats man i wish i would have got the 1 7/8 but awe well i think maybe the smaller diameter might help for torque not sure tho. You gonna put them on yourself? Its a pain but well worth it doing it yourself. You will save some cash too.

Dude Id love to get my hands dirty and do it myself, but Im gonna go ahead and get them installed/tuned. I figure on doing some future stuff like big valve heads or boost down the road, so I might as well get the 1 7/8" headers now. With you being able to run without cats, I dont think youre missing out on anything. I believe American Racing installed 1 7/8" headers on their shop truck also so I figure doing the same. I just noticed you have raceland e cutouts installed would you have vid clips? or pics where you ran wires..
