Default new camshaft and crankshaft sensor... still won't start

I replaced the cam and crankshaft sensors at the same time. I also put 8 new spark plugs and 2 ignition coils in still isn't starting... the code spit at me was 0340 which says I am not getting a signal from the camshaft to my computer. so what am I missing a reset to the comp maybe or something like that. ??? any takers this is my first post lol. I'm stumped and I am tryin not to go to a dealership

0340 is a camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction. Check the wiring to make sure there is no obvious damage. Other than that, one of the techs will need to guide you.

Sounds like a problem in the primary chain drive. That's odd because I've never seen a chain failure in a 4.7. You didnt break the crank did you?!

I really hope not. this is what I think and remember I'm kind of new to this. two ignition coils went out so it was only running on 6 cylinders. while driving to my Buddys house to replace them the truck shut off and wouldn't turn back over. it will crank like it wants to but won't fire up. yesterday my cam housing was removed and discovered that my chain Isn't turning. either because the timing with the chains was off due to running on 6 cylinders or because of the amount of slack that was in the chain.. that's where I'm at. the 3 chains are being replaced. I found a kit for about 450 bucks. I'm hoping this gets it to start

I'm curious to see what you find. Make damn sure you have the cams and crank timed right. You can bend the intake valves by being off by only one tooth.

I hope it's not the crank like you mentioned. that'll be another couple hundred bucks plus labor. I will let you know how it all works out

ok so once the chains were replaced it cranked and turned over. so that was awesome but it was running funny. a few plugs were burned up prob from when it wasn't firing up anyway come to find out I wasn't getting pressure on two valves because two valves were bent. so I replaced all of them ya know why not. and today I changed my oil and topped my fluids.. I cleared the codes by turning the key on and disconnecting my negative battery cable... it should
work the same as hooking up a comp reader. it's running great but I'm still getting a code that I can't find and it's is P02302
