So I just got done installing my cold air intake into my 2004 Dodge Ram 5.7L HEMI and then less than 24hrs later I've gotten a check engine light for the EGR valve/solenoid/system fault. The 'zone code says P0403.
I'm assuming its not a coincidence that I get this check engine light soon after this. Anyone else experience an issue like this before? Any thoughts on the EGR? I'm planning on spending 40 buckaroos at autozone for the EGR and replacing it just to see if that fixes problem. If not, back to the stock airbox
Also, when I took the temp sensor out of the stock air box and put it in the grommet for the K&N tube I noticed it had quite a bit of oil on it. This normal? Should I clean it? Leave it?
