Ok, Kenny.....I see where the confusion lied. You were showing me SRT rims and Timmy said "Look at my avatar". I took that to mean he was speaking to one or both of us, so I thanked both of you. You both have also been very kind and helpful here and other threads, so I wasn't going to waste an opportunity to thank you both. Are your rims for sale or didn't you just buy those?

A lesson to be learned in modding:
Be sure to reconnect everything when you are done with install! I do not have passenger power seats and when we were done running the all of the necessary cables, we forgot to plug a harness back together under that seat and guess what?! That was the reason for my 115v not working!!!! So I now owe my tech a Sausage Egg and Cheese McMuffin with Orange Juice and hashbrowns. Memo to me follow up after kids re-install. Our older daughter helped on that side so she is going down for this! LOL

Paris- Did you guys ever try installing a 12v capacitor? I had MAJOR engine noise and pretty severe light dimming on mine, popped in a 4 farad cap and EVERYTHING went away... That was for 3 amps totaling over 3000watts.

By the By this thread fawking rocks!!! I love reading this stuff

Thanks! Well here is our update:
The 115V was unplugged, that was already mentioned. As for the "white noise and alternator whine", it was coming from the channel 1 being grounded out. We do have a capacitor but we didn't install it as we have been told again and again that it isn't necessary. So we might be heading to JL Audio in Tallahassee soon or having our Tech help us with install as he is the smartie who informed us of the grounding issue. Scott and I have been talking and we are REALLY rolling on ideas for the Ram. Next mod will be in a couple of weeks (I hope). Taking the truck in a somewhat new direction! (Different than Chitheads, but his is still my fav!)
