Default ABS,brake, airbag lights on dash cluster lit & reverse lights don't work

I live in Buffalo & I own a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with the 4.7L. We had quite a bit of snow here the other day and while driving in the snow my brake light & ABS light came on my dash cluster. Then my airbag light & check engine light came on as well & my speedo is no longer working along with my odometer. As i drove they went on and off and the warning tone goes off every time which is the most enoying part of it. Now they are all on all the time. Today I cheked all fuses, harnesses for moisture & inspected what I could of the wiring for brakes or shorts. As I went to move my truck out of my garage and noticed my reverse lights are also not working & I can't change my heat from the defroster. Don't know if it is the PCM or BCM or what. The truck is running fine & I am not having any mechanical problems. From what I see online this is a problem among Dodge Ram owners. Any ideas what it would be? Really don't want to go get raped by a dealer if it's something I can fix myself.

Sounds like it may be 3 different problems. You need to start by having the PCM, and ABS modules scanned. A bad speed sensor could cause warning lights. The HVAC control head, a broken mode door or bad actuator can cause the defrost issue. The backup lamps could be bulbs, a switch or the FCM.

When the lights on my dash do go off (except the check engine light) everything works, heat, speedo, rev lights. I have afriend looking into it that works/ owns a salvage yard & he says he found there is 6 diffrent computers in the 02 ram. One of them is the CCM (Chassis Control Module) and that it controls alot of the things that I am having issues with. Says it is in the left front of the engine bay, possibly under or part of the PDC (power disribution center) I have owned one other dodge before and had electrical issues with that one also. If this is just the begining to what I have to look forward to, this ram is gone & I will never buy a dodge again.

Bravvo36,
Did you ever figure out this issue?
I have the exact same thing going on with my '02.

I have similar problem where the brake and abs would flash on and turn right back off for no reason and never see it do it again for months later. All my brakes are brand new and the system is working very well for being an 02. I can't seem to find the problem. Everything is working gauges and all so it's weird that we all have similar problems.
