Default exhaust help

I have a 94 ram 1500 5.2 v8 with stock headers and stock exhaust. im trying to find a true dual exhaust from the headers back with great sound. i was thinking magnaflow or flowmaster bolt on exhaust kit but i couldnt find one for my truck. i dont have a pipe bender so i cant do any fabricating. i will be replacing the headers as well. if you have any suggestions i would really appreciate it

Welcome to the forum. I had to have a dual system built for my '99 by a local shop. Went with Magnaflow for the mufflers. We didn't do headers as there wasn't much available for the 5.2L at the time and we realized we'd have to get a header kit and custom up a set.

I see that Summit now carries some headers for the Ram 1500 with the 5.2L engine. Flowtech now makes a set and I'll bet there are others.

But as far as a catback systems, I see quite a few single in/dual out systems but no true dual systems.

if you dont mind spendin the extra money, go to a muffler shop and have them put you something together with an x or h pipe in the middle for true duals, so it wont sound like 2 rice burners cat fighting. im gonna end up putting true dual straight pipes on mine, so itll sound like a v8 is suppose to sound. if you dont want it that loud, id go with magnaflow if you like a good tone and not a lot of noise. if you want a deep, loud tone, go with flowmaster super 40 of super 44's.
