Default Front Door Speakers?

Hey guy's... New here and to the Ram.

Just got her yesterday, a used 2010 Laramie with 15,XXX miles.

Was wondering on the Alpine system, I hardly have any sound coming from the front door speakers. Very faint...

Is this right? I there a way to adjust to get more sound?

Or do I take it in and have it looked at?

Well, my new 2011 with the Alpine system has been in the shop now 6 times for stereo problems (would have been fixed if they listened to me on the first time...but anyway...).

So I thought my busted amp blew out my front door speakers too (since, well, they sound muffled and blown). We replaced the front speakers and they sounded the same. So then we went to a different new Ram on the lot...and they also sounded the same.

I guess the front door speakers in the Alpine system are just for bass. There is no midrange or treble coming from them what-so-ever. The whole system would sound a lot better if it was a normal door speaker IMHO. All treble solely comes from the dash for front passengers...

I am curious to hear everyone else's thoughts...

Default Adjusting balance controls

(2010 TRX) Hi guys I have the Alpine 10 speaker with sub and the sound rocks. It has great vocals and bass. I had to play with the controls to set up the mid-range and treble and turned down the sub bass. I can not tell for sure if there is treble (vocals) from the door speakers or just bass but I can feel the sound waves on my legs when turned up. This system is way meaner then the Alpine 340watts dual 12inch subs with bose 6.5 front door speakers and sony 6x9 rear speaker in my G5. Also the factory speaker even if they are Alpine are more than likely not the best speakers Alpine make. So if I felt rich I would replace with after market speakers and add another amp just for the bigger speakers, leaving the dash tweeters and roof speaker alone. / A side note my truck now has 1200kms had one dealing with service department which sucked. Sun roof leaking was told not under warranty my fault for having ladder tied to roof which I have never done. Was charged for labor and I guess they fixed the problem when they reinstalled the headliner as the roof has not leak since.
