Default wonky when braking

My '94 1500 2wd long bed has a weird thing happen when braking. It feels like the rear wheels are "egg shapped" when the brakes are applied. As it slowes it sort of feels like soomething is grabbing. I do not feel it in the front through the steering wheel but it feels like it si coming from the rear through the body and or seat.

So far I have new tires, new drums and shoes, different rims and I have bleed the four wheels brakes but the issue continues.

It does appear to do this after warming up after a few miles.

Any thoughts?

were your brakes pads arced to fit good on the drums?
if not, you may have that feeling until the arc themselves with use, i'm going through the same thing with another vehicle of mine, my pads were not arced

it could be other things, but, it was just a thought

Don't think the shoes are the issue. Did the same thing with the last set of shoes. I really don't think it is the front brakes or shoes but who knows? The front looks good but this is a Dodge we are talking about....

I would jack up the front end and spin the wheels by hand. Normally if the rotors are warped the rotor will tire will slow down in the tight spot.

Bought a new set of drums from a shop where the owners were also machinists. They put the new drum on to turn it, and I could hear that it was ever so slightly out of round. They said they usually have to take off a couple of thousandths, even out of the box as they come out of round while cooling.
