Default What size tires to get? Help!

I have a 2007 1500 4X4 Quad with the stock 20" Bighorn wheels. I need new tires so I'm looking to upgrade everything. I bought a Rough Country 2.5" leveling kit with the optional 1.5" rear lift (I don't want my a$$ dragging while towing my boat). I also found some NOS Dick Cepek 17x9 DC-1's that I just bought...and now I'm looking for tires. I've pretty much settled on the DC Fun Country II Radials...but I don't know what size to go with. 33x12.5R17 or 35x12.5R17. Please Help!!! i don't want the "stuffed" look, but I also don't want the tire to look too small. Does anyone have this similar setup with pics? Thanks in advance.

Looks good. For some reason the 33's I have now don't look as tall as those. Maybe it's the extra width that's throwing me.

Default 35x12.5 for sure!

Dont listen to that guy...35x12.5 looks way better! I got 35x12.5 grapplers with my 2.5" leveling kit in the front and stock height in back and i have no rubbing issues...

Damn...that looks good too! Do you know what your wheel backspacing is? Now I'm back on the fence again. I'll also be installing fender flares too...I wonder if that would make a difference in the overall appearance of the tires.

I like the chrome beads on the wheels you have it sets up for good consistent black and chrome look especially with your ram 1500 lettering

You said you had some rubbing? Do you have the stock wheels with the stock backspacing? 5.75"?? I think my new wheels are 4.5"...so I shouldn't have any rubbing issues with either the 33's or the 35's.

If you dont want the stuffed look then go with the 33" tires. I had 35s with my 2" lift and it looked stuffed. I had people telling me it didnt look good and I needed to lift the truck more. Some people like the stuffed look and some dont. I know I dont and thats why I got the truck lifted more.

If you have stock rims you will have a chance of rubbing. Those pictures of the two truck above have aftermarket wheels. This shoud mean they have a negative offset so the tires will not rub on the control arms.

If you add fender flares it will make the tires look better. When I added mine the truck looked better overall. It also covers the tries which protects the truck from debris. When I took mine off to get painted the truck looked ghetto with the lift and the tires sticking out 2.5" past the body.
