Default Anyway to manually deactivate Cylinders??

Like the subject says. Is there anyway to manually deactivate 4 cylinder when cruising the highway??

At 75 my pickup does not shutoff cylinders.

That's because at 75 mph there's a constant load on the engine. Try driving 65-70 mph.

I have to drive 55 for it to even try to deactivate. And lets face it.. Who is going to drive 55 in a 75. Ewww

Just seems if youre going 75 cut off the cylinder and make the motor work a little harder. I don't know too much about it. Seems logical enough to me.

Take it to the dealer, there was a flash for the MDS system to get it to activate more regualrly, see if they can help you out.

TYVM! I have a diablosport tuner and it seems like it may activate a little more around town, But not on freeway.

I will take to dealer and see how that goes.

I live in the middle of no where so highway driving happens a lot for me. 70 miles to the closest walmart. FML

Be sure and take the Predator tune OUT before you take it to the dealer.

I think most of the horsepower gains comes from the variable timing, though some of it may come from the fake dual exhaust
