Default Winter Wiper Blades?

Hi Everyone, Has anyone bought any winter wiper blades for they're trucks??
If so what size do we need?
I phoned the dealer today and the 2010's aren't listed and the part dept. didn't know what size we need.
Thanks
Tom

They're the same as the stock size, and no difference between the '10 and '09, and the '09s are listed at local retailers. I'd recommend the new gen of Reflex blades, they work so much better, have no parts to ice up, and are only a bit more than a regualr set of blades.

Crappy Tire will have them listed, if only for the '09.

Every morning I get up now and the blades are full of ice and don't clean the windshield at all. Do you know if they are 22"?
The dealer I just phone quoted me 19.99$ each.
Do you have any idea how much they are at crappy Tire?

Winter blades are great. If you can't get the size from the dealer, just measure them tip to tip, both blades just in case they are not the same length. Most parts stores will let you put them on in the lot just in case they don't fit.

Also, I always put my wipers out/up when I park my truck in the winter. That way no ice/snow accumulates on them unless its an ice storm, then nothings safe.

A little trick I was shown works well, lift your wiper arms up overnight, that way if you get any type of precip whether it be freezing or just snow, they never ice up that way, clean your windshield off and then drop the arms back down.

I've been doing what RootBeer and Otter for many years now. Something that couldn't be done on North American cars until quite recently (4'' lift WTF?).

Another tip for winter that somebody (me ) learned last winter, don't fill your windshield washer with the Rain-X brand. When the temp dips below zero it freezes/clogs. Thankfully we had a mild winter last year so it was only a few days I had to rub snow on the windshield. The stuff is fantastic in the warmer months though, 1 squirt and rain just beads off at 80km/h.
