I have a headache rack on my truck now and want to put a spare tire mount over the cab. I would like to see how some of you built your mount off the headache rack. pics please

OK, I googled it. Now I know what it is. Thanks for the info. BTW, I don't carry anything big enough to break through my back window so that would be why I had never heard of it.

hmm...I wonder what Pro Tec has that fits their headache racks for an over the cab tire mount cage.

Oh, I'd take a look at some of the off-road supply stores too. I bet they have something that mounts to the cab of just about anything.

you could build your own tire rack over the cab of your truck, if you don't have a pipe rack with your headache rack
you would need to add a brace to the headache rack & that would restrict just which fiberglas tonneau cover type that you could use, IF you chose to ever have one.

bedrail w/ metal rail cap

sort of like this, only larger pipe & a bit taller
