Default Which is best in winter/snow? Duratrac, KO2, Nitto etc...

I'm considering a high quality all terrain that is snow rated to run all year round. Anyone know which is the best or if there is much difference between these? And will 285/60R20, 295/60R20 or 305/55R20 be too wide to drive all Canadian winter in snow/ice conditions?

BFG KO2, Goodyear Duratrac, Nitto Terra Grappler, Toyo Open Country, Michelin LTX?

I was actually leaning towards either the Toyo OC or KO2s. You found the KO2s way better in snow? Any other details/differences?

I do like my stock Wrangler AT's on my Outdoorsman but when they wear out I will be going KO2 as I had them on my previous vehicle and they were excellent in the snow.

From the reviews I've read & other forum members I've chatted with; the Duratracs are the best for winter driving among the one's you've mentioned.

The Duratracs are the ones I'm leaning towards for running on my factory wheels during the winter.....in a 275-65-20 size.

I hear the Duratracs are rather noisey for AT's, though.

Cooper Discoverer ATW 275/65/20's. Excellent tire, I run them all year round, that's what they are designed for. Excellent in winter, excellent in summer.

That's 2 full winters and 1 summer on these. I can't believe more people don't run these.
