still trying to decide on the cam....theirs or the Comp 260H. trying to stick with a mild cam.
imho......ive found that most shops "custom grinds" are not much more then a comp derivative when it comes to HEMI

ive used the comp in a couple builds and found that compared to similar builds (other people) but using a "custom grind" ive usually wound up a couple tenths faster with the comp (all other things equal)......jm2c!

what are the chances any of you guys would have the stock cam specs? would like to compare them to the couple I am looking at and can't decide on. also, I may skip the p&p heads as I'm afraid of losing low end.

the new engine being variable vale timing the duration specs are not what you would expect or be able to compare to other cams (see arrington's xe-cam) .....i gave you the lift numbers in a pm....the truck and the car hemi have the same lift but the car hemi has less duration.....

total durationis:
268 intake
290 exhaust
(no idea what it is at .050 which is industry standard)

.472 intake
.460 exhaust

hope that helps.....by the way if you use an older cam i think you lose vvt...someone please correct me if im wrong there....

I'm really confused now. I called comp today and the guy recommened a cam I hadn't even looked at.

Choices:

Arrington cam like Autobred bought.
Comp TPX 254HR 15
Comp TPX 262HR 14
Comp 260H 11

Wait, you could get a 12:1 compression ratio! Is it even safe to run that in a hemi?

Have you talked to Inertia Motorsports?
http://www.inertiamotorsports.com/camshafts.html
Ive seen threads of them testing on 09+ vvt motors that are almost 2 years old.
