Can anyone take a picture of the back, specifically where the tow hitch sits and a close up of the gap guards with the 3 inch lift? A little curious as to what it looks like, I dont want it to be obvious the gap guards are there and dont know if the tow hitch will look weird being 3 inches lower than the rear bumper.

The body lift is not noticable at all. The new trucks have the rear wheel wells lined with a plastic liner.

The only thing that hints at body lift is the exhaust. They did not do that at the dealership, but $50 fix at a muffler shop for a turn up tip.

yea that isnt noticable at all, but with my 2011 ram sport, I have the dual exhaust that comes out right under the bumper. Would there be a gap with the tips there as well or is there a way to move the exhaust up?

so with the new trucks, we wont need gap guards for the rear?

I just remember the gap guards on my nissan frontier it looks so damn obvious you had a body lift, i hated it

Mine was an easy fix: 3" turn up tip from a local muffler shop. Same thing with the duals.

On your other truck, did you have the shiny side out, or the dull side? If you put them dull side out they blend in a lot better. You don't need them in the rear if you have the wheel liner.

I guess Im having a hard time visualizing it. I need to see it. Anyone with the body lift and dual exhaust? Can you take a pic of where/how they were raised up too? Again on my last truck I had to lift the exhaust and from the back end you could see everything and it was just ugly.

I've seen it, I don't have a picture though. There is a dealer near me who installs those kits. Next time I'm by I'll stop and see if they have one on the lot. If there is, I'll snap a pic.

Or stop by your friendly neighborhood muffler shop. Tell them what you want to do. You are going to raise the body 3". You need them to cut the pipes and install a couple of "S" shape pipes that will relocate the tips into the notches in the bumper. As I said, I've seen one truck with it and it looked really clean.

check out this truck @ the dealer. Only way to tell he's got a body lift is the hitch.

Youre right, the hitch doesnt look bad either. I also thought about my NFABs then realized they are attached to the rocker panel so those move up as well ( I was worried about the gap in those). Doesnt look like that truck has rear wheel gap guards but it still looks good. Guess it settled, 5" PA lift it is..
