Default Inflatable wedge....NEVER LOCK YOUR KEYS IN AGAIN

Ever lock your keys out of your ram and call the the lock guy out...he shows up and opens your truck in about 30 seconds and charges you your first born child. They used this inflatable wedge thing on mine last time. I was watching trucks on tv and they showed this so i looked it up.

Its the same kit the lock guy uses. looks pretty cool and pretty cheap.

Those are handy IF your at home, BUT, if your at the store & it happens, your still screwed, you have to call a locksmith or phone a friend, because the wedge is locked in your vehicle

RootBeer, you take another tool, plastic or wood, pry your window out slightly, stuff the wedge between the window & door & pump it up, then you take the coat hanger or some other tool to pop the unlock button, it just beats the heck out of trying hold the window out enough & work the coat hanger at the same time, its just a third hand so to speak http://www.selfdefenseproducts.com/L...s-p-17565.html

here is another way, on video

Just keep a spare key (just the key, not the fob) in a hidden place on the truck. I keep a spare key in my wallet as well.

i keep a spare key in my wallet too, but when i locked my self out, my phone and wallet were sitting on the center console. Bummer. so i just called USAA and it was free for someone to come out, they got there in about 10 mins to so that was awesome.

Won't work if the only metal is a coat hanger and you don't have knobs on the locks. Coat hanger is not stiff enough to push the unlock button and not strong enough to pull the inside handle.

I agree with Michael, keep a spare key for the door only someplace safe.
