Default 2009 mygig PROBLEMS!!!!

i have been having issues with my mygig radio. first it would turn off after about 3 minutes then turn back on, disconnected the battery for an hour then reconnected and it worked fine. then just the other day i could get it to change stations, any functions i used it would be on the same fm station. anyone know what would cause this before i take it to the dealer because you know you can never get the dealer to duplicate the problem... still under factory warranty. thanks guys, any comments would help out my frustration!!!

What version of the firmware are you using? I think that they are now up to 2.307. You might want to update that and you can the update discs for around $10 on ebay or some places. Since it's under warranty, you dealer should be able to update it for you in 10 minutes. check outwww.mofv.com/mygig for information about your radio.

Didn't know about that mygig sight, thanks for the link.

I hate the way mine works. Takes like ten minutes to get it going if you want to get to a specific song on disc or HHD, then if you shut the truck off you have to start all over again! uuhg! I wish Dodge/Chrysler could make a decent sterio, how hard can it be?

Good luck with yours OP, let us know if you get it figured out!
