Why do you think you need a new PCM? I had multiple codes being thrown that would come and go. After replacing several sensors with mixed results, and studying the wiring diagrams, I discovered that all the grounds to the engine sensors come from the PCM. I looked at the ground strap to the PCM and it was in terable shape. I ran a new dedicated ground wire from the ground post on the exterior of the PCM sirectly to the clamp on the negative battery terminal. All my engine and drivability problems dissapeared. Also the error codes dissapeared. The engine ran better than it ever had since i owen this truck. Give it a try. For a few $ of wire and 1/2 hour of time, it couldn't hurt.

I had a new PCM put in my wifes intrepid this last summer. The shop tried a few used ones and they didn't work out the best. I remember that they said one of them kept throwing a crap load of codes. The other ones just didn't work.(which is apparently what usually happens) They ended up putting a new one in and everything is fine. They told me that it is hard to get a used one to work out.
