Timmy its the 5 by 11, I believe the same one that comes with their catback kit. Just an update on the cam install. Its been about 2000 miles since then its running great and Im comfortable to say Ive picked up 1.5 mpg along with the power shes making. Also Angie and I just wanna say a big thanks to Josh(HighHorseman) HHP for the hospitality and awesome install of our recent purchase of headers. He freshened up the CMR tune that AJ(hemituner) had installed prior for the cam, to compensate for the headers. Shes running much better up top and Im duly impressed with this modded oem box holding her own. Heres a pull with the cam/headers shifting comfortably at 5800rpms. with track prep and bolting my 17s back on Im hoping its gotta another 2/10 tenths on the table

whats up Speed, Ill post up a dyno when I get back to Arringtons. Ill redyno on the same Freeflow Windyn, HHPRacing uses a dynojet. Ill post pulls, ET slips no problem but unless its done on a same dyno, same day I dont want anything to do with it. I tell you what do a street pull 0-100 just like I did, that will give you something more accurate to compare to. Better yet lets just simply line em up Different dyno sheets from differnet days is for the birds bro, it can cost companies business, and you know as I know dynos can be easily manipulated. I got full control of my parameters of the CMR tunes AJ(hemituner) or Josh(HighHorseman), they kept it unlocked. I set it at 5800 so it falls right on the 4000 rpms where the meat of the torque is. I can set it to 6200 if I wanted to if you can explain to me as to why. Ill be willing to get it dyno same day with you if you set it up. DTP, HHP, ETA or Arrington your choice..that will probably the most accurate way to compare mods.

I thought of another question for ya Auto! I looked at the Inertia cam as well, like you said very similar. They require forged pushrods and recommend exhaust valve springs. The Arrington cam doesn't...do you think your cam should have those or is Inertia just trying to make more money? Really looking into this for my truck!

I suggest you follow the shops recommendation as I did. The reason I didnt go with inertia is that I have every intention of going with big valve heads down the road. So going the inertia route you will have added expense not by the parts but the labor as almost as swapping heads, so Ill be doing it twice. If you dont have the intention of going with bigger valve heads Id say go for it anyway but go BIG with the vvt camThey say you can change valve springs while its on the truck but its only an extra hour to actually remove the heads from the engine to work on them. If you gonna remove them, you might as well get them milled (worth another 20-25 hp) and so forth. I figure it was more convininient for me to just shove the cam in and run headers for now. Another thing something to think about seriously, is if your gonna go inertia.. Id personally go with the biggest VVT they offer Spartan Eagle cam..thatll get you smiling and the shop recommends the same supplement upgrade as the mildest cam (Baby Spartan Eagle) all for the same time and money, just someting to really think about.

As for the specs
Arrington cam duration 193/207
lift .541/.541

Inertia baby spartan eagle
duration 204/208
lift/lobe .531/.545 (range)

per their website. Not exactly the same, but close enough.
If youre deciding on the inertia cams..go vvt Spartan Eagle all the way bro, no brainer..IMHO of course
edit: I forgot to post a clip LOL
Ive FINALLY learned how to utilize the 2nd prime thanks to Compressor Man, I think hes on this board also..You da man!

Okay, I don't want anything crazy, want to be able to keep MDS and not spend a bunch extra on headwork. Like the extra power, but I want max driveability!
I looked at it again, and the Spartan is MDS friendly...does arrington make a VVT cam like that? If you do the heads are you going for more cam?
