Default rear springs

Has anyone changed rear coil springs on the 2010 bighorn 1500 crewcab ?
Seems to be a little soft when loaded.

Not sure if there is an aftermarket coil of factory height that is rated at a higher spring rate. What most members here seem to do is buy the Airlift 1000 or Firestone airbag kit which installs inside your coil.

I've bought the Airlift kit but have not installed it yet. These kits do not increase your payload but prevent the rear from squatting like you are experiencing.

yeah they softened up the ride with the springs over leaves. they do sag a bit when loadedbut like he said some airbags in the springs will prevent that.

If you want simplicity, look up Timbren suspensions, no airlines to route, or leak for that matter, all you do is remove the factory bump stop and replace it with the timbren suspension designed for late 09' or 10' trucks. It rides about an inch above your axle, so it doesn't compramise your ride empty, until you throw a load on, your suspension will never squat again.

So does the Timbren set up replace the stock springs or are they just additionals?
