i'd check to make sure the O2's are reading properly. yes, you can have bad O2 and not have a code. used to turn a wrench, and saw it happen a few times. O2 would read a steady Lean signal back to ECM and make the ECM think it was working, when it should have been jumping around. with a "lean" signal, ECM kept trying to richen the mixture (bad MPG and run like crap). I'd check signal at O2 and at ECM input. i've also seen wires burnt or corroded so bad that ECM wasn't seeing what it should see. also, make sure you don't have any bad intake seals. can cause a lean condition and make the ECM "richen" once again. and that also plays havoc with idle.

hopefully this will help a bit. GL

sorry for late getting back.... O2 can be tested by probing with a voltmeter and reading the voltage being sent back to the ECM. depends on model, but for the most part... it should read between .1 - .9 Volts. and it should move around in that range, helping the computer constantly adjust the AFR. from lean to rich.... yada yada.... etc. if it's stable as a table... O2 is bad. or if reads way outside the range, bad too.

hope it helps.

and good luck on swapping them. spray LOTS of WD-40 or whatever on the thread area. they can be stuck pretty good.

I dropped the tank tonight, to check out my fuel pump before anything, the sock on the bottom of the pump looked pretty clean, as I cannot see inside the fuel regulator(which has a filter built in it) I am going to give the pump power, and let the fuel run in a bucket, see how much is coming out, also want to make sure the pump is staying on, and getting full power.

Here's what has been changed, and what has been done so far.

New Tps Sensor
Reman PCM.

Valve Covers Popped off, all springs looked good, valves moving as normal.
All injectors checked for power, all getting power, and all of them are at the right resistance.
Checked all fuses, everything reading fine.
Put a new air filter in
Pulled fuel pump out, pump looked clean, but electrically not sure. IT was kicking on when i turned the key before i dropped the tank.

Getting codes p0205, and p0206 still.

I wanna make sure the fuel pump is getting full power, and constant power, if it is, Im leaning towards new 02 sensors. Just don't know why these two codes are getting thrown.

The dealership reprogrammed the pcm for me, and flashed it. Said it's taking a program and all. Im assuming the remanufactured pcm is fine? Weird how im still getting the same codes after putting in another pcm. Must mean there is a problem somewhere, that hasnt been fixed by the new computer. If anyone has any suggestions lemme know.

did you have any luck with the O2's yet? i need to check my wiring diagrams and see if there is anything special with the injector circuit compared to rest and maybe that might explain why just those 2 codes are set. seems weird that Injectors 5 & 6 are coded. hmmmm.

keep us posted....

As of right now im messing with the fuel pump. What I did was put a hole in the sock, which is connected to the bottom of the pump, to see if i would get a little more gas circulating, and it seemed like the truck was running better, but still not at full power, im wondering if the regulator is clogged too, that has a built in filter. I saw black smoke coming out of the exhaust also.

you got another fuel sock? otherwise you'll have big chunks of whatever (later on down the road) getting sucked up and then it'll be a really big mess.
if you wanna check fuel, borrow a fuel pressure gauge for FI and test it at the fuel rail.

you need to check those O2's.

and black smoke.. not good. Was it only on startup or all the time? maybe sounds like carbon buildup. dump some cleaner in there.... like seafoam. it'll smoke like a beeeatch, but it'll break loose that crud (if there is any).

good luck

I can get another fuel sock online for 20..

Im just up in the air right now, i'm going to check those 02's when i work on the truck again.

Im thinking either a wiring problem somewhere.
02's
Or bad fuel pump

This did all happen after i was low on fuel, and stalled out.
