Default REC nav users need help.

I'm still using the original disc from Dodge when I bought the truck in early 07, I would like the updated disc but the dealer wants more than $200 for them which is insane. are there any other options I want to keep my in dash unit, also anyone using the lockpick system? I heard some mixed reviews on it about not working well but I like the reverse camera option they offer, thanks again...

I ended up getting a version AG from a buddy of mine who did some hacking for in motion changes to destinations. I know the dealer price for the updated maps is outrageous and still no in-motion operation. It kinda sucks.

I haven't tried a back up camera on the REC NAV but I bet Susanne from NAV TV can hook you up with a working system.

I have the REC lockpick, got it on Ebay and it used to work pretty good. But I think it's starting to tweak out. I got it for all the obvious reasons, back up camera, Ipod audio and video hook up on the front screen and unlock the nav. Well after almost a year of having it.... every time i activate the ipod video it shows the backup cam and the Ipod at the same time, which it never used to do. Also I had an issue with my batteries draining to the point that my truck wouldn't start if it sat for more then 2 days, well i found out that the Lockpick was sending a continuous 12volt charge to the camera leaving it on ALL THE TIME but only activating the screen when in reverse. The internal switch that powers the cam must've gotten screwed up. I ended up just wiring it up to the rear back up light and bypassed the lockpick. Other then those issues, I guess it's working okay.... didn't last long working 100% correct. hope that helps. Also, Lockpick will only help you out if you buy it from them.
