Default Hear a click when you push down on console?

On my 2011, I notice that if I push down on the center console (usually when getting in/out or if Im resting my arm) that the console latch will click. Seems like its something inside the latch itself, any ideas?

No idea. Maybe the extra pressure is pushing the catch down against the lock hoop.

look on the lid itself & see if there are rubber nipples attached to it
someone mentioned that their console squeaked constantly & they had to show the dealer & a new lid was ordered, because no one seemed to know where to get the nipples from

Maybe some latches need a small adjustment, but, that is just a guess

Mine does this too. Almost as if I don't let the center console "slam" shut, it doesn't properly latch. I've just become accustomed to pushing down on it after I open it so that it's not loose.
