Default Door open switch...

Both of the switches that open a circuit and turn on the interior lights are broken off on my project truck. I can't see a way to remove/replace them.. Has anyone encountered that? I'd go post a pic, but it's 18*F and all the snow has iced over outside..

Also - Does anyone know what could be unplugged if the OBDII port is not showing as active? I may start another thread on that one over in electrical...

Not familiar with the 98-01 Ram's. Is there like a little black switch between the 2 door hinges?
