Open bed over all. The covers seam like they'd just be in the way. A camper shell would be ok for winter though I suppose.

Have had my RollBak G2 for over a year now and it still works. I use my truck for hauling material in and out of construction sites and this thing has taken a beating. It has been hit by pallets while loading with forklifts, things thrown on top of it, but it still works. I have managed to break the tailgate seal for it and the roll up housing seals are not seated properly due to rough rode driving at high speeds causing it to lift up here and there, but for the most part it still works well. one word of caution with a retractable tonneau do not get a yard of dirt with it on the truck unless you protect the roll up housing so the dirt will not fly into it. I got one yard of dirt with this truck and still have dirt caught in the cover. as far as gas mileage goes I have not seen any significant improvement.

I got a Lund Revalation Peel 'n Seal tonneau. Just picked it up the other day on amazon. When I get home in a week I will install it, but it will be easy. says install takes 20 minutes and no drilling. I like fabric ones because it enables full use of my bed when I want it, I can carry an entertainment center (unlike a fiberglass one that only opens to a 45 deg angle) and it doesnt cost alot. If it lasts me 5 years I will buy another one. It will keep my crap dry, and somewhat secure.

A question for those with the BakFlip G2, how does the drain work on the Ram? I have a bed liner in, and don't see a place for the drain exit. Its there one under the cover I don't see? I was thinking about getting one in a couple of weeks.

I had a truxedo soft cover on my Dakota but have not got one for the Ram yet, Was great, I might have seen a little MPG increase on the highway, but it kept everything dry, and rolled up so easy, was still able to fit my ATV in the back. Also looked great and I only paid about $300 for it

I had a Peragon on my 06 Ram installed it myself and liked it a lot. On my 07 it has a ARE LSII and its very nice and a clean install. It also matches my paint job.
