Default Temperature gauge doesn't work

It's been just sitting on cold for a while now. Even after driving to town and back, it won't move a bit. The coolant is full, and the thermostat is working. Does anybody know of a good way to test it?

Sounds like a sending unit/sensor. They're usually easy and cheap to replace.

How about stopping by the Newbie area and introduce yourself.
